Title:  Dr. Dora R. Scott
Description:  Dr. Bishop Dora Scott should be nominated for pastor of the month because she’s a native of Detroit, Michigan. A person who follows the word of God and cares dearly about saving souls of the community. Bishop Scott is the founder of Word Restoration Ministries. She is a former youth pastor for 10 years at New Jerusalem Temple Baptist Church. Pastor Scott is known as a woman that represents God well in her service, character, and social living. As an avid advocate of holy living and in obedience to the Lord, Dr. Scott answered the call to begin a ministry of restoration and reconciliation resulting in the birth of the Word Restoration Ministries in 2003, and served as pastor of Born Again. Church in 2005-2008. Bishop Scott is an excelling graduate of the Detroit Public School System and has received higher educational degrees in both secular and reglious fields of study. As a mentor Dr. Scott founded an organization “Project Tyme,” The organization exists to assist delinquent youth in becoming assets to the local community and society. Dr. Bishop Dora Scott is an awesome woman of God. She has a testimony of miraculous healing and that God’s healing power is supernatural. Dr. Scott is a pastor who help individuals understand the word of the Lord. She is truly a person who walks the walk and talk the talk. She does not ask her congregation to do anything that she won’t do. She teaches that Jesus did not just stay in the church so our congregation reaches out to the community. Dr. Scott is very active in the community. Word Restoration won the Detroit Community Development for the City of Detroit Council District#2. She preaches the word everywhere she go. The Lord has truly blessed Word Restoration members and people from all over the world. Bishop Scott spreads the good news about God on Facebook, Instagram, Periscope, on the prayer line every Tuesday morning at (6:30, then at 12 noon, then again at 9:00 pm), traveling to different churches, she is also known as church lady. Dr. Dora Scott is building on her legacy. She’s such a kind and loving person. God has sent the members of Word Restoration a rare and precious jewel. But don’t take our word for it.
